The video, released by TMZ, was taken Feb. 15 at the Revel Hotel and Casino. Rice and his companion, Janay Palmer, appear to be upset before entering the elevator — she is seen swatting him outside after he appears to spit at her. Once they get in, the argument escalates and Rice is seen punching Palmer two times — the second punch knocking her to the ground.Palmer appears to hit her head against the elevator’s railing during the fall.
