In celebration of Communications and Information Technology Workers' Day on December 6, Azercell organized a specialized training program to elevate journalists' digital literacy. Delivered by an international training company, the program offered media professionals a comprehensive overview of the latest advancements in media technologies and innovations.

The training commenced with an opening address by Sona Abbasova, Director of the Corporate and Marketing Communications Department at Azercell. In her remarks, Ms. Abbasova underscored the critical role of digital expertise in modern journalism, noting that the initiative would serve as a meaningful contribution to the professional growth of media representatives.

The first session was led by Şhebnem Ozdemir, Head of the Department at Istanbul Istinye University and a former researcher in artificial intelligence at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). This was followed by an insightful discussion on leveraging artificial intelligence in journalism, facilitated by Busra Begcecanli, a media expert from Anadolu Agency. Throughout the program, experts gave participants an in-depth understanding of emerging trends and technologies shaping the media landscape.
