Azerbaijan Parliament starts committee meetings ahead of autumn session

Parliamentary committees of the Milli Majlis are set to commence working meetings ahead of the legislature's upcoming autumn session.

On September 11, the Committee for Science and Education and the Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs will convene to review pending legislative agendas.

Under the internal charter of the Milli Majlis, the formal autumn legislative session officially opens with a plenary sitting on September 30 and runs through December 30.
