Cavani to United speculation intensifies: Paris Saint-Germain have replaced the image of Edinson Cavani on an official promotional poster, fuelling speculation he is on his way out of the Ligue 1 club. The Daily Mirror reports that the Uruguay striker has been replaced by Yohan Cabaye on an advert for the French club's away kit, adding to the rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United. While PSG have denied the striker is for sale, United were linked with a move for him in January and it is believed they are still interested.
Paper Round's view: Leaving PSG appears to be a distinct possibility - certainly now the club have cut him from the poster - but whether Old Trafford will end up his final destination remains to be seen. Louis van Gaal is aggressively looking to add to his squad, but does he really need another striker? Even with the club's purchases so far this summer, there are more pressing issues to be addressed in other areas of the pitch before a striker is brought in.
