House fire in Baku kills three, including a child

 A fire in a residential house in Baku's Sabunchu district killed three people, including a child, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations said on Monday.

The blaze destroyed a one-story, three-room house covering 80 square meters. Emergency crews discovered the bodies of the victims at the scene and transferred them to the relevant authorities.

Firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to nearby buildings, and the fire was brought under control and extinguished.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
