Germany captain Philipp Lahm has reportedly called time on his international career after guiding his nation to World Cup glory in Brazil.

The 30-year-old has bowed out a World Cup winner after Mario Gotze sealed a 1-0 victory in extra time for Germany against Argentina at the Maracana last Sunday.According to newspaper Bild, Lahm has opted to walk away from Joachim Low's side after making 113 appearances for his nation.The full-back, who will continue playing club football for Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, made his international debut back in 2004.(sportsmole.co.uk)Bakudaily.az
