Karabakh University plans to open three new faculties in 2026, including Agriculture, Arts, and Tourism, Rector Shahin Bayramov said on Tuesday.

Speaking at the 7th ADA Political Forum titled "Towards a New World Order", held at the university, Bayramov said the new faculties of Arts and Tourism will be located in Khankandi.

Bayramov noted that the university currently has five faculties, with over 1,100 first-year students and around 200 staff members.

“The main mission of Karabakh University is to become a center for education, research, and innovation,” he said, adding that strong support from the government helped launch the institution swiftly and successfully.
