Baku to host Climate Action Week after COP29 success

Following the successful conclusion of COP29, Azerbaijan will host Baku Climate Action Week from September 29 to October 3.

The announcement was made by COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev and UN High-Level Climate Champion Nigar Arpadarai.

The five-day program will feature international conferences, seminars, roundtables, and cultural events, bringing together climate experts, government bodies, investors, and civil society representatives.

Key themes include energy transition, sustainable agriculture and water management, urban development, science and innovation, green economy, SMEs, startups, and climate resilience.
