Azerbaijani agriculture minister tests positive for COVID-19

Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov has tested positive for COVID-19, the Ministry of Agriculture said on Tuesday in response to an inquiry from Teleqraf.

According to the ministry, Mammadov took a COVID-19 test ahead of the Caspian Agro international exhibition held in Baku.

“The test result was positive, so the minister was unable to attend the exhibition,” the ministry said.
