Remains of missing soldier from First Karabakh War to be buried

The remains of Fuad Alaskerov, an Azerbaijani soldier who went missing during the First Karabakh War and was recently identified, will be buried on Friday, local media reported, citing the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons.

The burial will take place at 3:00 p.m. on June 20 in the cemetery of Aghbashlar village, Tovuz district.

The commission noted that efforts to identify those missing from the First Karabakh War are ongoing.
