Medical faculty to open at Karabakh University

Karabakh University will launch a Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences starting from the upcoming academic year, regulator said.

The faculty will offer a six-year general medicine program and a four-year nursing program, with 70 and 30 student slots respectively. The curriculum is based on international standards and a competency-based education model.

Students will receive hands-on training through clinical internships at the university’s hospital, integrated interdisciplinary modules, and a modern simulation center. Opportunities for research and leadership development will also be available.

Notably, the program includes an art component aimed at enhancing students' communication and teamwork skills.
