Apple to use U.S.-made glass for all new iPhones and Watches

Apple will outfit all new iPhones and Apple Watches with glass produced in Kentucky, CEO Tim Cook announced during a White House briefing.

“For the first time, every new iPhone and every new Apple Watch sold anywhere in the world will feature glass made in Kentucky,” Cook said.

The company is building its largest and most advanced glass manufacturing facility in the U.S. to support this shift.
