Mass food poisoning from fast food reported in two Azerbaijani districts

 About 25 people were hospitalized with suspected food poisoning in two districts of Azerbaijan after eating fast food, local media reported on Thursday.

Around 20 residents of Shamkir district were admitted to hospital with symptoms of poisoning, according to the reports.

In a separate case, five members of the same family in the village of Ayubly in Tovuz district also fell ill after eating doner kebabs. They received medical treatment and their condition was described as stable.

Authorities have launched inspections in connection with the incidents.
