Azerbaijan history to be taught only in Azerbaijani in Russian-language schools

 From the 2025-2026 academic year, the subject “History of Azerbaijan” will be taught in Azerbaijani in grades 5 and 6 in schools with instruction in other languages, the Ministry of Science and Education said on Friday.

The measure was introduced by a decree signed by Education Minister Emin Amrullayev.
