Sergen Yalçın returns as Beşiktaş head coach

Istanbul club Beşiktaş has reappointed Sergen Yalçın as head coach, TRT Spor reported.

Yalçın joined training on Friday. It marks his second spell with the team – in 2020–2021 he led Beşiktaş to the Turkish Super Lig and Cup titles.

The club had earlier parted ways with Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær following a poor performance in the UEFA Conference League.
