Forecasters said rain and thunderstorms are expected in Baku

Forecasters said rain and thunderstorms are expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on September 27, with partly cloudy skies and short showers during the day.

Heavy rain and thunderstorms are possible in some areas, accompanied by strong northwesterly winds, the National Hydrometeorology Service said.

Nighttime temperatures will be 14–16 °C and daytime 16–19 °C. In other parts of Azerbaijan, short rains and thunderstorms are also forecast, with hail and wet snow possible in the highlands. Fog may form in some areas.
