Baku metro to run late for Qarabag Champions League match

Baku Metro will operate extended hours overnight from Nov. 5 to 6 due to local football club Qarabag’s UEFA Champions League match, the company said.

All stations will remain open for passengers until 1 a.m. To ensure safe and comfortable transport for fans, extra staff and controllers will be deployed at Ganjlik, Narimanov, and 28 May stations, with volunteers assisting at Ganjlik.

Reserve trains will be on standby if needed to handle increased passenger flow.
