Germany and the Netherlands have secured their places at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Germany beat Slovakia 4–0 at home in their decisive qualifying match. Nick Woltemade opened the scoring in the 18th minute, Serge Gnabry doubled the lead in the 29th, and Leroy Sané struck twice in the 36th and 41st minutes. Ridle Baku scored in the 67th minute and Assan Ouédraogo added another in the 79th.

Germany topped their group with 15 points to qualify directly for the tournament, while Slovakia finished second on 12 points and will enter the playoffs.

Earlier on Sunday, the Netherlands beat Lithuania 2–0
