Azerbaijan to host FIFA Series 2026

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has announced that the next edition of the FIFA Series will be hosted by Azerbaijan between the international match windows of March and April 2026.

Infantino said the pilot edition held in 2024 demonstrated that the project offers national teams from different continents a unique platform for competition and engagement beyond traditional regional tournaments.

The men’s events will take place in Australia, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mauritius, Puerto Rico, Rwanda and Uzbekistan. Women’s tournaments will debut in Brazil, Côte d’Ivoire and Thailand. Several other FIFA member associations have also expressed interest in hosting future editions.
