Neftchi considering Belarusian coach Viktor Goncharenko for head coach role

Azerbaijan’s Neftchi football club is evaluating Belarusian coach Viktor Goncharenko as a candidate for the team’s head coach position, Sport-Express reported.

The 48-year-old’s most recent job was with Russia’s Pari NN, which he managed from October 2024 to June 2025. Neftchi is currently searching for a new head coach, and Goncharenko is among the leading contenders.
