Azerbaijan ends 2025 at 127th in FIFA rankings; Spain takes top spot

Azerbaijan’s national football team finished the year in 127th place in the final FIFA World Rankings for 2025, published on Monday. The team holds 1,132.97 points following the latest international cycle.

Spain concludes the year as the world’s top-ranked team with 1,877.18 points, narrowly edging out world champions Argentina, who sit in second place with 1,873.33 points.

France remains in third position with 1,870 points. The rankings reflect the competitive balance of global football ahead of the upcoming qualification cycles.
