State Sector Employs 58% of Resettled Population in Karabakh

A majority of the resettled population in the Karabakh economic region is employed within the state sector, according to data released by Azerbaijan’s State Employment Agency (DMA) on Tuesday.

Hasil Abbasov, Chairman of the DMA, stated during a press conference reviewing the past year's performance that 58% of the employed population in the region works in government positions, while 42% are active in the private sector.

Additionally, 154 individuals have been integrated into self-employment programs, and 360 residents have been enrolled in vocational training initiatives to bolster local labor market skills.
