Doctors in Baku fight for life of wounded Idrak Lyceum teacher
Doctors in Baku are continuing to fight for the life of a teacher at the Idrak Lyceum who was wounded in a shooting incident. The woman has been hospitalised at the Clinical Medical Center and is reported to be in serious condition.
According to medical sources, the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the neck. Doctors are carrying out all necessary procedures to stabilise her condition.
The TƏBİB said an emergency call was received at around 09:10 on February 6 from the Idrak Lyceum in Baku’s Binagadi district. An emergency medical team was dispatched to the scene.
The injured woman, born in 1997, was taken to hospital, where she received necessary medical care and underwent laboratory and instrumental examinations. Treatment is ongoing in the surgical ward.
Earlier reports said that a 10th-grade student opened fire on a teacher at the Idrak Lyceum. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
