Azerbaijan reports 593 fires, 37 people rescued last week

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reported 593 fires last week, along with responses to 26 cases of people trapped without assistance, one road traffic accident, and one explosion.

Rescue operations conducted by ministry teams saved 37 people, including 13 minors, evacuated 11 others, treated three injured, and recovered the body of one person found behind a closed door, the ministry said.
