Yellow warning: strong winds expected in Baku and regions

The National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a yellow warning over expected windy conditions in Baku, the Absheron peninsula and several districts.

According to the service, western winds are forecast for today and tomorrow in the capital and Absheron, as well as in Kalbajar, Zangilan, Dashkasan, Goranboy, Mingachevir, Gobustan, Siyazan, Gusar, Neftchala, Bilasuvar, Salyan, Fuzuli, Beylagan, Jalilabad, Lerik and Yardimli.

Wind speeds are expected to range between 13.9 and 20.7 metres per second.
