More than 100 tankers head to U.S. ports for crude loading
More than 100 empty oil tankers have headed to U.S. ports to load crude oil, the White House said on Tuesday.
According to CBS, 54 of the 103 vessels are very large crude carriers (VLCCs), each capable of transporting around 2 million barrels.
The White House described U.S. oil production as a “critical supply boost” amid global energy disruptions linked to the conflict with Iran.
