Oil prices rise over 1% on global exchanges

Global benchmark crude prices traded higher during the latest exchange sessions.

On London's ICE Futures exchange, November contracts for Brent crude gained 1.35% to settle at $101.69 per barrel. On the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), October futures for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude climbed 1.12% to $96.85 per barrel.
