Gold futures surge to $4,204

Precious metals futures advanced firmly across global commodity trading floors on Friday. On the New York COMEX exchange, gold futures for December 2026 delivery climbed 1.13% to reach $4,204 per troy ounce.

Silver futures similarly tracked higher on the exchange. December 2026 silver contracts gained 1.78% to settle at $60.48 per ounce.
