Starlink faces speed curbs across Ukraine
Satellite communication terminals operated by Starlink faced operational curbs across Ukraine on the night of October 14, reportedly disrupting several critical military missions, according to former defense ministry advisor Serhiy Sternenko.
Sternenko stated that connectivity cuts out whenever terminals move at speeds exceeding 160 km/h, though stationary units continue functioning normally. He suggested that SpaceX introduced the restrictions following a directive from the administration of US President Donald Trump, alleging deliberate interference with Kyiv’s operational defense capabilities.
