Azerbaijani Businesses Can Now Delegate Digital Signature Powers Indefinitely via SİMA
Sole proprietors and legal entities in Azerbaijan can now grant indefinite digital signing authority to authorized representatives via the "My Cabinet" section on sima.az. The new service enables businesses to fully digitize the delegation of authority for tax, customs, banking, and routine commercial operations.
To delegate authority, entrepreneurs simply enter the recipient's personal identification code (FIN) in their dashboard and assign the appropriate access role. The appointed representative is not required to be on the company's official payroll: signature rights can be granted to internal employees as well as external partners. The core requirement is that the representative holds a SİMA business signature certificate registered under the enterprise's Tax ID (VÖEN). The authorization carries no expiration date and can be revoked by the business owner at any time.
The business signature certificate can be obtained online via the SİMA İmza mobile application, with first-time users eligible for a six-month free trial using the promo code "6AYPULSUZ." Developed by AzInTelecom LLC under AZCON Holding, the platform provides access to public and private e-services without hidden fees beyond the standard subscription.
