President Ilham Aliyev Receives UN Counter-Terrorism Official

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Alexandre Zouev, Acting Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Office, on October 26. The meeting highlighted the constructive and productive partnership established between Azerbaijan and various United Nations bodies, with discussions focusing on institutional cooperation with the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism.

Azerbaijan’s tangible contributions to combating international terrorism on a global scale were highly commended during the conversation. Additionally, the parties emphasized the significance of the upcoming World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku as a premier global venue for addressing contemporary challenges, acknowledging the event's growing international prestige year after year.
