Azerbaijan's capital bids for Euro 2020

Azerbaijan's capital Baku has submitted the bid to host Euro 2020, the Ministry of Sports and Youth said on Saturday.

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) administration will evaluate the bids and send the reports to the UEFA Executive Committee.

The final decision on the selection of the 13 hosts of Euro 2020 will be announced by the UEFA Executive Committee on September 19 in Geneva.

On a meeting in 2013, UEFA Executive Committee decided that the matches of the final stage of Euro 2020 will be held in 13 cities.
