Azerbaijan wins 20 medals during first day of AWF Cup

Azerbaijani male wrestlers grabbed 20 medals (6 gold, 7 silver and 7 bronze) during the first day of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation's Cup International Tournament, which started in Baku on Saturday.

In the team competition, Azerbaijan took the first place, Turkey took the second, while Iran won the third place.

The tournament has brought together wrestlers from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Tajikistan, Switzerland, Hungary, Latvia, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan.

The tournament will end on April 22.
