International judo tournament starts in Azerbaijan

An annual international judo tournament commemorating two-time Hero of the Soviet Union of Azerbaijani origin, Major-General Hazi Aslanov, started in Baku on Saturday.

The two-day tournament has brought together about 300 judokas from 11 countries - Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Italy, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
