Zlatan demands Twitter changes its rules just to suit him

Never one to be modest, Sweden and Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has taken on social media giant Twitter, telling it to change its whole business model just to suit him.

For those of you who have been living under a rock (or who are still using a phone that can only make calls and play Snake), Twitter gives user just 140 characters in which to tell people how annoyed they are that their train is late or what they are having for their tea.Ahead of a big Q&A with fans though, Zlatan directly told Twitter to change its rules so he need not be so brief through the medium of, well, Twitter... but at least he said please!Despite over 45,000 retweets, Twitter did not change its format just for the striker but Ibrahimovic still did at least try and educate people on how 'To Zlatan' in admittedly quite entertaining fashion.Of course the little 'tick' below the images he is posting shows that Zlatan is not coming up with all this himself, with his sponsor Nike clearly pushing hard to establish his 'brand' as football greatest egomaniac. However, his cultural impact cannot be underestimated, particularly in his native Sweden, where his name has been entered into the dictionary as a verb. The Swedish Language Council included the verb "zlatanera" - meaning "to dominate" - in its list of new words for 2012.The verb "to zlatan" was originally coined by a satirical TV show in France, where Ibrahimovic plays for Paris Saint Germain. The word has been in common use in Swedish ever since. Also, later this month, the Swedish Postal Service are releasing a postage stamp, or 'Zlamp,' in his honour.Of course, when you have as big a mouth as his, you need to back it up on the pitch, and to be fair to Ibrahimovic he has done that by scoring 37 goals for club and country this season. However, he won't be competing at this summer's World Cup, as his Sweden team were knocked out in the play-offs by Portugal thanks to a hat-trick from another modest chap by the name of Cristiano Ronaldo.(uk.eurosport.yahoo.com)ANN.Az
