Azerbaijan’s January oil, natural gas production grows

Azerbaijan pumped more crude oil and natural gas in January year on year, the State Statistics Committee said.

Crude output rose to 3.7 million tons from 3.6 million tons a year earlier, the committee said on its website on February 13.

Production of marketable natural gas grew to 1.8 billion cubic meters from 1.6 billion cubic meters.

Azerbaijan last year cut oil production 2.8% to 41.9 million tons.
