Azerbaijani gymnast wins gold at World Challenge Cup

Azerbaijani gymnast Oleg Stepko won a gold medal at The World Challenge Cup in Qatar.

He came in first place, ahead of his rivals on the uneven bars, reported a statement issued by the Azerbaijan Gymnastic committee.


Columbian gymnast Khossimar Calvo came in second place and Romanian gymnast Andrei Muntean took third place.


The event was the first to claim a gold medal in that field of gymnastics.


Should be noted, this gold medal was the first at such type of competition.
