Barcelona head coach comments on future contract
Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick has commented on the possibility of extending his contract with the club.
The German coach said he would be happy to continue working at Barcelona if club president Joan Laporta remains in office.
“I am truly happy to work here. Together with Deco, the staff and my coaching team, we feel very comfortable. The president is one of the key reasons why I am here,” Flick was quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo.
He added that the trust shown by the club’s leadership is crucial and noted that next year’s presidential elections could influence future decisions.
Flick’s current contract with Barcelona runs until June 2027.
