UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who is on a visit to Turkiye, has been awarded the “Ataturk International Peace Prize.”

Citing Turkish media, the award was presented by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

President Erdogan presented the Ataturk International Peace Award to United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, expressing great satisfaction with Guterres’s efforts to promote peace and security.

Erdogan expressed satisfaction for Guterres's efforts in establishing peace and security.
