Azerbaijan’s economy up 2.5% in first nine months

Azerbaijan’s gross domestic productgrew by 2.5 percent in the first nine months of 2014 year-on-year, the StateStatistics Committee said.
The non-oil economy expanded 6percent during the period. The oil and gas industries shrank by 2 percent.
Azerbaijan pumped 32.1 million tonsof oil in the January-September period, down from 32.5 million tons a yearearlier. Production of marketable natural gasexpanded to 13.8 billion cubic meters from 13.1 billion cubic meters.Bakudaily.Az
