A deer was nearly swallowed whole when a giant beast leaped from the water where it was drinking.
The unsuspecting deer was leisurely enjoying a drink from the watering hole when a huge crocodile suddenly appeared.
Hoping to bag itself a tasty treat, the beast shot out a high speed with it's mouth wide open.But thankfully the deer's speedy reflexes meant it managed to get away unscathed.
The heart-pumping video has gone viral since being shared on Imgur.
One impressed user said: "How did he not die?”
While another commented: "It’s almost as if he knew the danger was coming.
”And the deer isn't the only one who got a fright from nature recently.
