Austria appoints new ambassador to Azerbaijan

Axel Wech was appointed Austriaəs new ambassador to Azerbaijan, News.Az reports citing the Austrian Embassy in Azerbaijan.
He will replace Sylvia Meyer-Kaibic in this post.Axel Wech began his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan on December 1 this year.Axel Wech was born in 1968. In 1992 he graduated and obtained Master of Science degree in law at the University of Graz. In 1998-1999 he worked as an attaché at the Austrian Embassy in Brussels. In 1999-2000 he worked at the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, Austrian Embassy in New Delhi and Brazil, led the operation to assist in the tsunami in Sri Lanka.Bakudaily.Az
