Azerbaijanis to visit Maldives visa-free

Azerbaijani and Maldivian citizens holding ordinary passports will be exempt from visa requirements on a reciprocal basis, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry said.

President Ilham Aliyev has approved the relevant law.

The law approves an agreement between the governments of Azerbaijan and the Maldives on mutual visa exemption for holders of ordinary passports.

The agreement was signed in New York on September 24, 2025.
