Sweden appoints new ambassador to Azerbaijan

The Swedish government has appointed Louise Morsing as its new ambassador to Azerbaijan.

She will succeed Tobias Lorentzson, who has served as Sweden’s ambassador in Baku since 2022.

Morsing has previously held various positions at Sweden’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs and at the country’s diplomatic missions abroad.

She is expected to take up her post in August.
