Seven signs your man's being unfaithful

1. He suddenly cares about his appearance

If he doesn't normally care what he looks like, but suddenly takes a keen interest in grooming this can be a sign that he's trying to impress someone else.

2. Talks obsessively about a new colleague at work

While they may just be friends, you should be cautious if he starts ranting about one particular female colleague at work.

You know him better than anyone, so you'll probably be able to tell if he's got a crush – just make sure you listen to your instincts.

3. He’s not present

Even when he’s physically present, he’s off in his own world and not really with you. This can be a sign that he's got something (or someone) else on his mind.

4. He's always working late

All of a sudden he has a new enthusiasm for work and often stays late to 'help out'. Maybe he has to travel or stay the night near his office.

While this sounds obvious, people often try to push suspicious thoughts to the back of their mind. If you're not comfortable with him staying out talk to him about it and ask him to come home.

5. He accuses you of being jealous/crazy

People who are cheating often try to turn the table and acuse their partner of being paranoid. This is a classic ploy to make you doubt yourself, but unless you're habitually jealous you should trust your own judgement.

6. Your friends/family try to warn you

Although it might be painful to hear, if your friends and/or family think he's cheating there's a huge possibility he is.

Chances are the people closest to you have your best interest at heart, so make sure you don't shut them out by ignoring their concerns.

7. He's overcompensating

He's never around, but when he is he lavishes you in expensive gifts as if he's trying to make up for something. Again, he might just be being nice, but make sure he's not doing it out of guilt or trying to make up for something subconsciously.
