Minor earthquake in Azerbaijan

An earthquake of magnitude 3.1 occurred in the Masalli region, reports the Republican Centre for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan reports.

According to preliminary information, the earthquake was recorded at 06:45, 26 kilometres southeast of the Lankaran seismic station, in the territory of Masalli region.

The depth of the epicentre of tremors was 19 kilometres.
