Bahar Muradova: Violence against women continues in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani society always condemns violence against women, the chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Bahar Muradova said at the First National Conference of Parties for First Aid to Combat Gender-Based Violence.

Journalists quotes her as saying cases of violence against women continue in countries around the world, including Azerbaijan.

"One of the most important steps in protecting women's rights is to ensure their economic liberty," she said
