Oil prices rose on Wednesday amid a weakening US dollar, as well as a confident rise in the Chinese stock market due to expectations of a recovery in the Chinese economy.

Reported from Interfax that the cost of April futures for Brent on the London ICE Futures exchange amounted to $82.66 per barrel. This is $0.32 (0.39%) higher than the previous close.

On Tuesday, these contracts fell $1.22 (1.5%) to $82.34 per barrel.

WTI oil futures for April rose $0.27 (0.35%) to $77.31 per barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX).

According to the results of previous trading, the cost of these contracts decreased by $1.42 (1.8%) to $77.04 per barrel.

Oil prices have remained in the $10 per barrel range since the beginning of this year as traders continue to monitor the situation in the Middle East and also assess demand prospects.
