Gas transportation via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline surges by over 5%

Approximately 23.87 billion cubic meters of gas were transported through Azerbaijan’s main gas pipelines in the first seven months of 2024, down 0.5% year-on-year, reported from the country’s State Statistical Committee.

From January through July 2024, 56.2% of the total gas transportation was carried out through the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum (BTE) pipeline.

Consequently, more than 13.42 billion cubic meters of gas were transported through this pipeline during the reporting period, representing a 5.4-percent surge compared to the corresponding period in 2023.
