Azerbaijani commandos join Pakistan Independence Day parade in Islamabad

A group of Azerbaijani commandos and the military band of the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute took part in Pakistan’s Independence Day parade in Islamabad, marking the 78th anniversary of the country’s independence, Pakistani media reported on Wednesday.

The Azerbaijani delegation, led by First Deputy Defence Minister and Chief of the General Staff Colonel General Karim Valiyev, attended the parade at the invitation of Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir.
